I ordered this for my daughter who has POTS and does much better with a gentle wake up vs the startle of a blaring alarm. This works perfectly for her, it slowly illuminates her room for 20 minutes (time is changable) before an alarm of birds chirping chimes in. It allows her to start waking up slowly instead of startling awake with a jolt. My son is home from college for the holiday and I already trying to talk her into letting him have it. Thankfully, it looks like I can still get one delivered before Christmas! My parents are here visiting and are also very interested in it and thinking they may like one also - great for all ages!!

Quality light that gives that appearance of the sun coming up. Looks great and it really does the job. I like that it doesn't take up a ton up space and that it looks sleek. It works really well for waking up as I do better in areas that have a lot of windows to actually have the sun come up, but without the windows and the dark room, this helps that natural awakening process. Simple setup and I'd definitely recommend to those with dark rooms or blackout curtains.

My daughter is at the age where monsters under her bed are a real concern! I have a similar light to this one in my room and she is convinced the sunlight feature will keep the monsters away. I ordered this one not realizing it is actually smaller that my name brand one, but I am so happy it is! Its the perfect size for her. (And really, mine takes up way too much room on my night table.) The nature sounds are nice and the radio works well, but she really only uses it for the sunlight lamp and the color-changing light at night...a feature my (much more expensive) sunlight clock doesn't have. Overall, a great purchase! She loves it and I have fewer visits from her in the middle of the night!
